UNIVERSO ONLINE, the largest Brazilian provider of Internet services, is to merge with the site managed by PT MULTIMEDIA, subsidiary of the Portuguese group PORTUGAL TELECOM. At the end of the operation, PT MULTIMEDIA will have an 18% stake in the new group.
