ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) brewing

SAB - SOUTH AFRICAN BREWERIES has concluded an alliance with its rival CASTEL GROUP. Initially, SAB will take a 20% stake in CASTEL, the latter in turn acquiring a 38% stake in SAB's American subsidiary. The two groups have also announced the setting up of a 50/50 joint0venture to be active on the African markets.
