19/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - German and French Foreign Ministers Joschka Fischer and Hubert Vedrine met in Stuttgart on Friday where they discussed topical issues like EU enlargement, the BSE crisis, developments in defence Europe, relations between Europe and the Bush Administration and Mr. Fischer's recent meeting with President Putin. It was the first bilateral meeting after the informal Summit of Blaesheim in which the French and German leaders decided to meet every six to eight weeks.
