19/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the EP approved the Council's common position on the directive concerning the interoperability of the conventional trans-European rail system. The rapporteur, French Socialist Gilles Savary, noted that the Council's common position covers 33 amendments adopted at first reading.
