12/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Bureau of the European Parliament Liberal group last week held meetings in Turin and Bari, to express its support for Francesco Rutelli, member of the group, who is the centre-left candidate for the next general elections in Italy. The meetings, to which took part in particular the group President Pat Cox, had as themes "Liberal democrats and Italy and in Europe" and "EU Mediterranean policy."
