Commission authorises C&N Touristic to buy Thomas Cook Holdings

Brussels, 12/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has cleared the acquisition of the British travel company Thomas Cook Holdings by the German tour operation C&N Touristic. The only Member States in which Thomas Cook is active in leisure travel are the UK and Ireland, countries where C&N has no presence.
