ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) glass

The Belgian company BMT announced the creation in Turkey of a joint venture with the local firm ANADOLU CAM. The two partners will invest USD 1.5 million in this joint venture named OMCO ISTANBUL and which should cover 70% of the Turkish market for glass moulds. It should have a turnover of USD 7.7 million for its first financial year. BMT adds that, thanks to this operation, its annual turnover in glass moulds will increase from BEF 2.16 to around 2.5 billion.
