07/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - Greece and Turkey have resumed talks on confidence-building measures in the Aegean, says the Greek press agency ANA, stipulating that, while an agreement has already been reached on the need for Athens and Ankara to avoid simultaneously organising air and naval manoeuvres in the region, there is agreement regarding direct communications between NATO's sub-headquarters of Larissa, in central Greece and Eskisehir, in west-central Turkey.
