ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) agro-chemicals

The Japanese trading houses TOMEN and NICHIMEN are to merge their agro-chemicals branches within a new company. Both TOMEN and NICHIMEN will have a 40% stake and the remaining 20% will be in the hands of other investors. It should have a turnover of 150 bn yen in its first year of operations and employ 130 people.
