The German group E.ON intends to take control of the Swedish group SYDCRAFT AB, of which it has recently acquired an additional 5.3% from four Swedish communes, for the sum of EUR 272 million. It thus increases its share to 29.4%. Furthermore, E.ON is said to be planning the acquisition of the British electricity company POWERGEN.
