The Catalan savings bank LA CAIXA will be raising its stake in REPSOL YPF from 9.9% to 15%, an operation worth ESP 175 billion. LA CAIXA thus becomes the leading shareholder in REPSOL, far ahead of BBVA -BANCO BILBAO VIZCAYA- which owns 9.9%.
