ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) telecommunications

CHINA UNITED TELECOMMUNICATIONS, the Chinese mobile telephony operator, has acquired GREAT WALL TELECOM's military network. This acquisition will enable the Chinese firm's parent company, which is aiming to reach 18 million users, to attract another 550,000 new customers.
