Four loans for transport and SMEs

Luxembourg, 15/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted four further loans in Greece, for a total of 416 million euro:

  • A 200 million euro loan, granted to Attiko Metro, is intended for the construction of two new underground lines in Athens. These lines, linking the eastern and western parts of the Greek capital, passing through the centre, will be built by an international consortium comprising Greek, French, German and American companies.
