Migrants Forum rejects current text

Brussels, 04/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Union's Migrants' Forum has expressed concern about the insufficient place given to the rights of migrants and ethnic minorities in the draft EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. It refuses to support the draft Charter in its present form. It mainly regrets that Article 43 on free movement and stay in Member States recognises EU citizens have a right that it does not guarantee in the same way to third country nationals, and deplores the fact...
