10/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - General Ralston, Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe, proposed the nomination of the Norwegian General Thorstein Skiaer, Commander of the North European Allied Forces, as KFOR Commander of the peacekeeping force in Kosovo lead by NATO, as of April 2001. The present KFOR Commander is the Spanish General Juan Ortuno.
