Brussels, 10/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the Norwegian company Telenor to acquire a majority stake (53.5%) owned by GN Great Nordic in Sonofon, one of the main operators on the Danish mobile telecommunications market. The stake belonging to BellSouth Corp in Sonofon remains unchanged. Telenor was not yet present on the Danish market.
