Brussels, 09/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - Greenpeace welcomes the undertaking made by Novartis the agri-foodstuff multinational, to no longer use any genetically engineered ingredients (GE) in its products, wherever they are sold. Through a letter addressed on the 2 August to Greenpeace, Novartis assures that since 30 June, all the products manufactured by its suppliers are "non-GMO guaranteed" and thus can be placed on the "green list" of non-GMO products established by the NGO.
