Brussels, 27/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Union Council has introduced a definitive anti-dumping duty on the import of synthetic staple fibers of polyester originating in Australia, Indonesia and Thailand. Given the dumping margins and seriousness of the injury observed, it has also decided to definitively collect the amount deposited under the provisional duty in force since the beginning of the year.
