03/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The President of the National Assembly, Raymond Forni is to met the President of the Bundestag, Wolfgang Thierse, in Berlin on 4 July. A press release from the National Assembly states that, only a few days after a colloquium held in the National Assembly on Franco-German relations and the beginning of the French Presidency of the EU, Forni and Thierse intend "considering new joint initiatives and ensuring the continuity of close cooperation between the two parliaments."
