The German group BAYER acquired the South Korean plastic materials manufacturer SEWON ENTERPRISE (turnover of EUR 18 million in 1999 with a workforce of 60 people) for an undisclosed sum. Following this operation, this company will be renamed BAYER SEWON LTD.
