The Spanish TELEFÓNICA made a formal offer of EUR 4.79 billion to acquire the Dutch production company ENDEMOL ENTERTAINMENT. An initial offer of EUR 5.5 billion had already been formulated by TELEFÓNICA last March. See EI of 21 March.
