The German group HENKEL and the Algerian public industrial group ENAD have formed a joint venture in the detergent sector. The German group, who is thus entering Algeria, paid EUR 55 million to take a 60% stake in this joint venture, its partner ENAD holds the remaining 40%. Named HEA, this company has two factories in Algeria and an annual turnover of around EUR 121 million.
