Luxembourg, 31/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - At an informal meeting in Luxembourg devoted to preparing the European Council in Feira, the prime ministers of Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands Jean-Claude Juncker, Guy Verhofstad and Wim Kok considered presenting a joint Benelux Memorandum at the Summit on the EU's institutional reform. The three Heads of Government, who have not yet taken a final decision on the subject, essentially discussed the facilitation of closer cooperation (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.4, for Mr. Juncker's stance on this).
