ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) cars

The Board of Supervisors of Germany's VOLKSWAGEN has endorsed the takeover of 30% of SKODA AUTO (Czech Republic) for EUR 332 million. The German group is now the sole owner of the Czech company, which has 21,000 employees and expects to sell 440,000 cars this year. See EI of 7 April.
