23/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the agreement between the European manufacturers of electric motors in the aim of limiting the sale of polluting motors, to achieve positive effects on energy consumption. It also approved, with certain conditions, the merger of American pharmaceutical producers Pfizer and Warner-Lambert. EUROPE will give further details tomorrow.
