European Commission may contribute to repair damages caused by Enschede explosion, through region policy

Brussels, 17/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission President, Romano Prodi, this Wednesday, as an act of solidarity to the families of the victims of Saturday's explosion, went to Enschede (Netherlands). He also looked, with the Dutch authorities, at the financial support that the Community may bring to the disaster area.
