Employment Council contribution to drafting of broad guidelines of economic policies at centre on Monday's ministerial session

Brussels, 05/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The "Economic and Social Policy" Council (new title for the "Social Affairs" Council in accordance with the General Affairs Council's decision of the 10 April, reducing the number of formations in the Council) will begin its work next Monday 8 May at 11am, at the same time as the Ecofin Council. The European Commissioner responsible for Employment Anna Diamantopoulou will take part in the work chaired by the Portuguese Minister for Labour and Solidarity...
