ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) aeronautics

DASA, the aeronautics subsidiary of DAIMLERCHRYSLER, soon to be part of EADS along with AEROSPATIALE MATRA and CASA, has signed a tentative agreement with the American defence contractor NORTHROP GRUMMAN (turnover of USD 9 billion in 1999) with a view to exploring possible alliances in several key sectors of defence electronics.
