LAGARDERE SCA (France) has filed a public swap offering on its press subsidiary HFM -HACHETTE FILIPACCHI MEDIAS- in which it is already two thirds owner. It is offering HFM shareholders 11 LAGARDERE shares for 10 HFM shares. HFM publishes 200 magazines in 33 countries and had consolidated turnover of FRF 15.3 billion in 1999.
