25/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Training Foundation (Turin) recently published a study entitled "The Development of Standards in Vocational Education and Training, Volumes 1 and 2". In these manuals, the Foundation describes the key challenges (for example, the skills students need to get a job, what students need to learn to be valuable employees, etc.) facing the Central and Eastern European countries with regard to vocational training and underlines its role in promoting quality, transparency, employability and comparability in vocational training in its partner countries.
