Brussels, 03/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The 17th World Congress of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (CISL) began work on Monday 3 April to end Friday 7 April. Taking part, are some 1,200 delegates and observers from over 150 countries. This congress, organised jointly with CISL's three affiliate organisations in South Africa, has as theme "Globalising Social Justice: the trade unionism of the 21st century".
