22/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - the Egyptian authorities consider as definitive the outcome of negotiations with the EU on a Euro-Mediterranean Association Agreement, the Egyptian ambassador to Brussels Mr. Raouf Saad confirmed. Following the change of government after negotiations ended, there had been an additional examination regarding the agricultural regime; that is now over. The agreement may therefore soon be initialled.
