ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) air sector

The private Italian airlines AIR EUROPE and VOLARE AIRLINES, in which SWISSAIR is a shareholder, are considering a merger of their activities. The consolidation of the two entities would create a group with profits of ITL 650 billion and a fleet of 22 aircraft.
