20/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - Secretary General/High Representative Savier Jolana presented a brief report at Monday's General Affairs Council on how the Union could contribute to dispute settlement in Africa, beginning with the Great Lakes region. The Fifteen agreed to address this issue in further detail at an upcoming session (perhaps in April), taking into account the conclusions of the Africa-Europe Summit, to be held on 3 and 4 April in Cairo.
