ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) steel

VOEST-ALPINE KREMS (Austrian steel group VOEST-ALPINE STAHL; turnover of around EUR 400 million in 1999 with 2,000 employees and six production centres in Europe) has acquired the American company RFC -ROLLFORMING CORPORATION- (metallic parts for furniture and cars; annual turnover of EUR 30.9 million with 260 employees) for an undisclosed amount.
