13/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - The rise in industrial production was quite steep, according to figures published by Eurostat in Luxembourg on Thursday, in the months of August/October of last year. Compared to the previous quarter (March-July) the rise was assessed at 1.1% both in the Euro zone and for the EU as a whole.
