European Commission seeks views on revision of ‘ETS’ system

24/08/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 20 August, the European Commission opened a public consultation on the revision of the emissions trading system for CO2, presented on 17 July (see EUROPE 13912/1). This will run until 19 October. A first call for evidence had been opened from April to July 2025 in order to feed into this legislative proposal ahead of its presentation, gathering some 377 comments. Call for evidence: https://aeur.eu/f/n41 (ND)
