Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe announces pre-election visit to Moldova

29/08/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 28 August, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe announced that it would be sending a delegation of four of its members to Moldova on 3 and 4 September to assess “the election campaign and political climate” ahead of the parliamentary elections on 28 September. The delegation is due to meet the President of the Republic, Maia Sandu (to be confirmed), the Speaker of Parliament, representatives of parties and coalitions...
