European Parliament activates urgency procedure for European Defence Industry Programme

13/03/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 13 March, at the request of the EPP, the European Parliament voted by a show of hands to activate the urgency procedure on the report on the European Defence Industry Programme (EDIP). MEPs are due to debate the EDIP report on Friday 21 March in the Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) and Security and Defence Committees, before voting on the text on Thursday 24 April.
