Green light for €279 million in Czech State aid for energy storage

07/03/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 7 March, the European Commission approved Czech State aid worth €279 million to facilitate the integration of renewable energies into electricity production in the Czech Republic. The country will subsidise the construction of at least 1,500 MW/h of electricity storage capacity. All storage technologies will be able to access the programme.
