Preben Aamann appointed Director-General for Communication and Information

21/01/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 21 January, the Council of the European Union appointed Preben Aamann, a Danish national, as Director-General for Communication and Information. A former spokesperson for European Council President Donald Tusk, Mr Aamann will take up his post on 1 February 2025. Prior to this, he held a number of positions in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including as spokesperson at Denmark’s Permanent Representation to the European Union. See Mr...
