On Tuesday 5 November at the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (Ecofin), the EU Council adopted conclusions on the Court of Auditors’ special report on the EU’s industrial policy on renewable hydrogen, which was published last July (see EUROPE B13455A11), welcoming the report’s findings.
The latter was critical of the European Commission’s targets for 2030 of 10 million tonnes of renewable hydrogen produced and 10 million tonnes imported, deeming them “unrealistic”.
