25/10/2024 (Agence Europe) – Leuven, Molenbeek and Namur have been shortlisted for the title of European Capital of Culture 2030 in Belgium. The decision was announced after the panel of independent experts met in Brussels on Thursday 24 October. They were chosen over Bruges, Ghent and Kortrijk and will have to finalise their proposals by 31 August 2025, with a view to a final decision in the second half of 2025.
