23/10/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 23 October, in the presence of the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, the €20,000 Daphne Caruana Galizia Prize for Journalism was awarded to the Lost in Europe consortium of journalists Geesje Van Haren, Ismail Einashe, Cecilia Ferrara and Kristof Clerix for their report on the 50,000 unaccompanied migrant children who have disappeared in Europe over the last three years.
