A Council of Europe report stresses importance of risk management in combating violence against women

The Council of Europe’s Group of Experts on Action against Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (GREVIO) stresses the importance of risk management in prevention in its 2023 report, published on Tuesday 15 October.

It recommends improving training for the authorities, to deal more effectively with physical, psychological and digital violence.

GREVIO’s work has also highlighted the increased risks faced by children when their mother separates from a violent partner.
