Poland is authorised to pay €1.2 billion in aid to support investment in strategic sectors

On Tuesday 17 September, the European Commission authorised a €1.2 billion Polish aid scheme designed to support investment in strategic sectors to promote the transition to a net-zero emissions economy.

The support was authorised under the State aid Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework adopted by the Commission on 9 March 2023 and amended on 20 November 2023 and 2 May 2024.
