On Friday 13 September, the European Commission ruled that the travel expenses incurred by Croatian Dubravka Šuica during her term of office as Commissioner complied with the rules and budget for mission expenses.
Vice-President Dubravka Šuica made 148 official trips between 2019 and 2024, racking up total travel expenses of €360,000, the Croatian press reported. Sixty of these visits were missions to Zagreb, while 23 official trips took place in her home town of Dubrovnik.
