EU Council authorises European Commission to negotiate a new fisheries protocol with Sao Tomé and Principe

11/09/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 10 September, the Council of the European Union adopted by written procedure a decision authorising the European Commission to negotiate, on behalf of the EU, a new Protocol implementing the Fisheries Partnership Agreement with Sao Tomé and Principe (see EUROPE B13452A25). The European Commission is also considering talks to amend the Fisheries Partnership Agreement with this country or to negotiate a new text for a Sustainable Fisheries...
