European Commission gives Hungary further 15 days to pay €200 million fine imposed by CJEU

On Tuesday 3 September, the Hungarian Minister for European Affairs, János Bóka, confirmed that his country’s authorities had received the second letter from the European Commission concerning the payment of a fine imposed by the Court of Justice of the European Union for failing to comply with a previous ruling of December 2020 on the management of migratory flows (see EUROPE B13431A18).
