EU’s agri-food trade surplus remained stable in May 2024

In May 2024, the EU’s agri-food trade surplus remained stable at €5 billion, down slightly compared to May 2023, according to the latest monthly report (https://aeur.eu/f/dar) on agri-food trade, published on Tuesday 3 September by the European Commission.

Agri-food exports from the EU remained stable at €19.7 billion in May. Cumulative exports from January to May reached €97.4 billion, up 2% on 2023. The United Kingdom was the top destination for these products, followed by...
